First Aid
First Aid is a critical skill and Leaders are encouraged to have a current Certificate.
This is mandatoty for any Night Away activity and to obtain a wood badge.
Some courses are run in District, but other courses are acceptable.

Courses for 2019
3 Award in Outdoor First Aid (RQF). 2 day course
This is a certificated course and is used for those who partake in various adventurous outdoor activities.
28th and 29th September. The times for each day will be 0830 - 1630 at 1st Headley Scout Hut, Beech Hill Road, Headley, Hampshire, GU35 8DR - Contact for more information and to book is Matt Beadle.
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF). 2 day course
The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and infants. This will provide knowledge and skills to deal with a range of Paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.
This course meets all the requirements of OFSTED, EYFS and the Department for Education and Skills (DFES). No previous experience is necessary to join this course.
12th and 13th October. The first day will be 0830 – 1630, the second 0900 - 1200 at 1st Headley Scout Hut, Beech Hill Road, Headley, Hampshire, GU35 8DR. Contact for more information and to book is Matt Beadle.
